Man, brings back memories of making the short drive at lunch in high school to the reformatory drift (1 min drive) for a few casts. That was the only good thing about High School, the Sky was close by. lol
Hang in there Kore.... Pass some classes before June 1!!!

Hey, Kory, you're a funny guy, but why do I get the feeling you are not who you claim to be? Get help, friend - I think you need it.

Boy, some of you are sure BIG men out there talking smack to a 13 year old. If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. Nice to know that some people are so eager to help out the next generation of steelheaders. Bet you guys were all experts at 13, eh? Sorry to vent, but this has been going on for too long and if Kory is indeed 13 years old, then your little comments are completely uncalled for. Kory, if you need to know anything about the Skagit, then you can ask me anytime. The Skagit will be closed until June 1 at which time it will open up for trout and steelhead. It's a humpy year this year, Kory, and if it opens, then you should get into some good fishing on the Skagit come August/September. Fishing for summer steelhead in the Skagit can be spotty but there will be tons of dollies pouring in by mid June. Until then, Kory, work hard in school and I'm glad to hear that you have such a strong interest in fishing.

Kory, they say that 5% of fisherman catch 90% of the fish. So it would make since that 95% of the people you are asking don't catch that many fish. You need to spend as much time on the rivers as possible(when open)and watch the people that are catching fish. See what they are using, doing, were they are casting, ext. Think of some well thought out ?s and ask them. Make it short and to the point and try and do it while there rigging up or walking. Most people would be more than happy to help you as long as you don't pester them or interuped them while there fishing. Hands on experiance goes a long way.Patience is also a key.I don't know anyone who learned to fish overnight.Good luck.
